I swear the title is relevant, you just have to read through the whole thing mmkay?
Soooo... On Tuesday I hung out with some of the oddest, coolest, weirdest, most ridikulus (Harry Potter reference, sorry.) people ever. And by 'hang out' I mean we played zombie games. And by zombie games I mean Dead Space 2. And by played I mean I took five second turns in which I kicked my legs and screamed "Ohmigosh, NO! I don't like you, go away, go away, goawaygoawaygoawayyyyy!!!".... I think there may have been a few whimpers and nonsense words garbled in there as well--I honestly don't know. Ask Timothy or Jeneva. They were laughing at me the whole time. :P
But seriously. That game is sooo messed up. I was freaking out so much. Screaming. Jumping. Cowering against the couch. (Jeneva was cowering too, for the record. She had a corner she could retreat to. I didn't.) Ahaha, during chapter.... four? Or five. Whichever. There are these things called stalkers. I seriously think that was my longest turn. I was so freaking scared. Like.... when Jeneva and Timothy were playing, yeah, I was freaking out... but when I actually got the remote in my hands it was way different. I was suddenly the person in the game and it was my life on the line here.
...Is that weird...?
Anywho. I actually killed, like, two of them! :D It made me so happy. Then I died. And I wasn't happy anymore.
I got home after that, and watched some TV... Mum asked me to do the dishes, so I was all like 'Okay, sure' and I reached into my pocket for my iPod... but it wasn't there! D: I realized I had left it in the car. So.... I went towards the door, walked outside... and froze.
It was dark. Like... I couldn't see anything. And I thought, "Oh gingersnaps, Necromorphs hide in the dark." Hahaha, it's rather safe to say I didn't retrieve my iPod from the car until the morning. I'm such a coward. XD
Oh, and when I was walking down the (dark) hallway towards my room, I couldn't help but flinch everytime I walked by a door. :P
Ah... Dead Space... You've messed me up for life.
