Catching Fire

Guess what's happening in this blogpost???
If you guessed dancing with rainbow unicorn-riding leprichauns then you've come to the wrong blog, and I suggest you move on immediately.
Nay, this is another one of those picture-reation thingies that I did for the Hunger Games.
Let's get this party started.

So... it starts out with Katniss really confused, she's all like:
Mostly because she's got the problem most teenage girls do: boys.
Have I mentioned both boys vying for her affections are rather attractive? I mean, check these beats out!
I'm sorry, I've gone and lapsed into a moment of shallow-ness. I'll do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again...

Anyways, she's confuzzled about her feelings for the both of them. Mostly because she's all cynical about the whole 'love' deal... or is she? O.O

Both dudes are uber-mega different.

Gale:

Is a little more fiery. He breaks the rules to make sure the ones he loves are safe and taken care of. Even if it means terrible collateral damage (this comes into play more in MockingJay, but it's still true of him in Catching Fire).
He works in the mines and has had a hard life. He also didn't realize his feelings for Katniss until he was around 16...

Peeta:

Peeta is a baker's son. And, while his life hasn't exactly been ideal, it's still been better than Gale's. He works in his father's bakery frosting the cakes and cookies. He's more sweet and tender, and genuinly cares for everyone's well being over his own. He would sacrifice himself for the ones he loves anyday.
He realized his feelings for Katniss when he was 5 years old.

Personally, I'm Team Peeta.

I would go in-depth about why and all, but that would contain many spoilers... so... yeah. :P

MockingJay thingy is next... prolly won't happen until tomorrow or so...

Ciao, my beautifuls!

Darn you, fictional people...

So, last night, I finished Catching Fire, the second book in The Hunger Games trilogy. And let me tell you... that book just brought on a bunch of mixed emotions.

I laughed...
I teared up...
I shouted at pages...
Yeah, I get emotional when it comes to books.
Oh yes, and I now approve of this guy:

to play Peeta Mellark.

A parting question:
Why can't fictional character-boys be real? ;_;

Filthy Muggle...

So... I started reading The Hunger Games, last night.

And let me tell you... it was amazing.

Seriously. I totally devoured that first book. And here.... here is my reaction totally in Harry Potter pictures, you ready for this?

So for the first few chapters, I was all like:

This is a really great book.
Then I got further into it and I was like:

I MUST FINISH THIS BOOK
And by the end I was all:
GIVE ME THE NEXT BOOK, YOU FILTHY MUGGLE, OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!!!

Anyways, I'm onto the last book: MockingJay now, and I'll probably do one of these for each, because they're just that amazing.

Stay beautiful! <3
